Christmas Collections
Fund raising is essential to be able to help our local community while also helping a little worldwide. We collect outside supermarkets at Christmas, usually at the Goldworth Park and West Byfleet branches of Waitrose. In normal times, we also undertake street collections usually accompanied by our Christmas trailer playing music round some of the streets in and around Woking.
However, both this and last Christmas, due to Covid, we could not collect in the usual way and apart from a few collections from Waitrose, organised late, we were limited to distributing leaflets through the letterboxes of Woking homes instead, asking for donations.
